"I will take my business to someone who appreciates it..."

Prompted by an inquiry from a client that contacted me yesterday I found an amazing article by Cody Ellerd that I wanted to share with all our current and prospective brides, please give it a minute and read!

Dear Elizabeth B! Please know that I DO, I really DO appreciate yours and all other business coming our way but... we charge what we charge for a reason. Actually, many reasons. The best of luck with your wedding plans, sincerely!

Karine + Vahig. Splendid & sublime (and sweet, too)!

Karine & Vahig, my lovely & beautiful June 27 couple got married in a heavily decorated, colorful Armenian Church, followed by a ride in an Alfa (yeah, baby!) and a great session at Liberty State Park, followed by a rainbow sighting. Their reception was emotional, and such high energy.
To properly and artfully capture K & V's day I joined forces with a world renowned photojournalist, and my awesome friend George Weir Thank you, George. And thank you Karine & Vahig.. it was such a fabulous experience to be a part of your day!

A+M: Love at Jasna Polana!

Annemarie & Michael! You are such stars! How can I even find words to describe how good your wedding day was? I bet your facebook pages can barely handle the traffic, compliments and all the congratulations coming your way, haha! This day was long anticipated and long talked about and in the end it exceeded all the expectations by a mile. To say it was a grand event will never be enough! We all love you two dearly for beaming with happiness all day long and making our job so incredibly easy, not only by looking hot but also through your amazing personalities!

The entire day was set at a picturesque town of Princeton, NJ with the reception held at the famous Jasna Polana - an incredible venue indeed! With Adam Ludwik - the Polish photographer extraordinaire and David Lim on my team we have captured so many images that we like. This is our small review of the day:

Courtney & Brian = Baltimore Delight!

Courtney and Brian! If we could we would post a hundred images from your wedding right here on the blog but then we would have to rename it to "C&B wedding blog" ;)
We are just very excited about what we captured and recorded on our cards just a few days ago! Even though the below selection of favorites is just a quick glimpse we hope it will give you a good idea of what's coming! Your wedding was absolutely gorgeous from beginning to end! Courtney you looked Amazing, Brian - your team at the Oriole Park was fantastic to work with and of course the location was very special - it was so much fun to be there!

The team was consisting of myself, Monika Broz and our friend Adam Ludwik (one of Poland's best!) who is visiting from overseas and photographing with us throughout the month of July! The below collection is a mix of favorites from all of us:

Brian had an opportunity to use The Orioles Park at Camden Yards for his photo shoot with the groomsmen. It was something we haven't done before. Shooting at the baseball stadium was a fun and refreshing experience! Even though we had to follow pretty strict security guidelines we couldn't be happier with what we got!

Working at and around the Walters Art Museum was also a very rewarding part of the day. The surrounding area is a photographer's heaven and we were lucky enough to work not only with fantastic people but also the best light!

The credit for amazing center pieces and room decoration goes to Victoria Clausen, Romance of Flowers:

With entertainment provided by the fantastic Joker's Wild led by Vincent Borrelli, hair and makeup beautifully done by Madeleine C. Homes, delicious food served by Linwoods caterers and the overall coordination of the event by one of the kind Elizabeth Bailey we, the photographers had a really easy job to do. There were so many stylish and cool things around us to photograph and so many happy people having good time!

Courtney and Brian! You rock! Have the best honeymoon! Thank You so much for having us!

Cori & Rollie, featured far & wide in the blogosphere!

Fabulous Janie from The Bride's Cafe and Amazing Kat from Rock N Roll Bride loved their wedding as much as we did!
Thank you ladies!

Erin + Remy, love, puppies & rainbows.

Erin & Remy, my really super fun & gorgeous June couple got married at a majestic Princeton University Chapel in the heart of Princeton University. After ceremony, we took a quick stroll through the campus, only interrupted by one cute puppy- seriously- look below, and some (not so cute) rain.
Lively reception took place at XIX Restaurant - a REALLY fantastic & pretty intimate venue in Downtown Philadelphia...
I must add that all the floral elements of this wedding were created by Erin- she did such an amazing job- !! Bravo!

Erin & Remy, your photographers ( myself + David Mielcarek) had such an amazing time- Thank you for having us!!!

Erin did the flowers, I looove!!!

She had so many great looks, I seriously couldn't narrow down, thus the collage...

Erin's super nice Dad.

There he is!

Restaurant XIX is pretty funky & unique.

Guests/ friends of Erin & Remy were literally pulled onto the stage and performed with the band!

Keeping up with the Joneses, Cori + Rollie !

I was really looking forward to Cori & Rollie's wedding from the day we first met. First of all, they are quite awesome individuals with truly unique style. Second: all the action was to take place at one of my fave locations, an old grist mill on the Delaware River. Third reason was that they had something over 30 children (ranging in ages from 10 weeks to 12 years) in their wedding party... How fun is that! Did I mention all the kids were dressed in white !? Cori & Rollie's wedding was exactly as I imagined: a big garden party with super friendly vibe, attended by great Friends & Family, filled with fantastic details & fun accents... Another bonus for me was a brilliant second photographer who worked with me that day Tim Dinofa I met Tim a couple of years ago on occasion of photographing his wedding. Since then he's been mastering his craft as a very successful portrait/ wedding photographer.

Cori had a fantastic headpiece, and her gown was a bespoke creation.

Absolutely tempting & scrumptious food and drink by Dish Catering

Ice cream stand with many great flavors.. I heard that banana peanut butter was most popular!

That was one non traditional wedding cake...

Iris + Joe, from New York to Hong Kong with love...

Joe and Iris got married in Oakdale, Long Island, NY on May 30. It was such a perfect day- the couple, friends and family, gorgeous locations and fantastic weather.

Their reception was held at
Bourne Mansion
The night, beautifully bathed in pink light, was full of great emotions & fun moments.
My friend & very talented artist Nadine Rovner joined me that day, and captured many amazing images (shoes, groomsmen, bubble exit & black and white portrait of Iris and Joe featured in this post, amongst others).

Amazing Felicia of Glamorous Affairs
was a wedding planner for this event and she deserves a huge credit for making it so glamorously stylish!
Last, but not least, I had pleasure of working with a fantastic video company
Timeless Films These guys were capturing events in such unique fashion, from a very cool perspective, I am actually really excited to see the video when it is complete.

Dear Iris & Joe- thank you for such an amazing experience to be a part of your day!Best of luck in your new life together in Hong Kong!
