Going for a joyride with Iris & Joe, piglets included.

Iris & Joe's engagement session was one of top favorites this season. They trusted 'us photographers' to pick the location, and they came in a convertible, yay! The neighbourhood of Dumbo (a.k.a Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) is one of the faves to shoot, due to hip urban vibe present on the streets, great old buildings, covered with street art, and inhabited by most adorable neigborhood pets... vietnamese piglets- as seen at the end of this post.
Iris and Joe were just so delightful to work with, they really got some style!

Samantha and Gerren - love on fire !

How does love work ? We meet so many people when we go through our lives and many times we feel nothing at all. Then, all of a sudden (usually when you least expect it) - an arrow through the heart and... you're in love ! Honestly, I don't know how Samantha and Gerren met and how their love started. I do think that they were meant for each other and it was a pleasure to watch them together during one of the most important days of their lives. Almost literally their love was on fire :) and we - together with Robin Roemer - shot it:

A big Thank You goes to our bride and groom for being so accomodating and easy going ! Our day with you was much fun ! Oh, and I have to mention the special bond I have formed with Gerren based on our common music interests - I know it will never be forgotten ! (ok, inside joke - but I couldn't resist, the post simply wouldn't fly without it !)

Swimming with the world's largest fishes! Christine & Andrew

Christine & Andrew got married in the truly adventurous spirit. During the emotional ceremony dozens of hungry eyes were literally following their every move! And I am not talking about friends & realtives shortly before the cocktail hour... I am talking about the fiercest eyes in the world: Sandtiger Sharks, Sandbar Sharks, Green Sawfish and even Hammerheads....as Chris & Andrew exchanged their wovs in front of the large Shark display at the Camden Adventure Aquarium overlooking Philadelphia downtown skyline ... What a great, unique way to get married!
Andrew was no less creative in proposing to Chris. He designed the banner ad that run in the local magazine and found its way to Christines's hands. Needles to say, she said 'yes'. I am glad she did. We had lots of fun at their wedding, swimming with sharks, dancing till midnight!
Christine wore really sylish shoes by Betsey Johnson (hint to all my brides- shoes other than white are HOT, ladies!!!!!)
