Shooting with Adam under the (BIG) Apple ;)

My dear friend Adam Ludwik has spent over a month visiting America for the first time. He is one of Poland's best wedding photographers. You can see his work at his website and blog. His great eye is behind many fantastic images from the weddings of Courtney and Brian, Annemarie and Michael's as well as Alison and Jaimie's (Monika Broz's clients) - all posted just recently on this blog. Right before he left to photograph another lucky couple on Polish ground I had a chance to shoot his clients Agata and Alfonso right here - in our old good New York. We have visited a few very familiar locations and tried to put a new spin on them.

Arizona...I have seen a falling star!

Hearing (merely a few weeks ago!) about Tiffany & David's wedding plans was like an adrenaline shot! Getting married on the slope of Bell Rock sounded like a wonderful idea. Yet, the real thing still exceeded my expectations! Fantastic couple, absolutely gorgeous setting and possibly the most perfect weather. You simply can'tgo wrong! Indeed, on the last night of my stay I did see a falling star and oh yes I made a wish - not just one ;) Arizona wedding planners - I am shouting out to you - if you want to refer a cool photographer please do not hesitate to pass my name around :) Having spent the past eight years of my life on East Coast no wonder I am totally in love with your country! Ok, enough words - let's see some images:

Tiffany & David - thank you for inviting me to your wedding and allowing to shoot. It was a wonderful adventure that I'll never forget!

Manzanillo Milagroso ! Mexico Destination Wedding

Destination weddings are quite magical.
First, there was a dark body of angry water splashing onto the sandy shore seen through the eye of a clunky Mexicana Air jet with dwarfed overhead compartments. So small, that my delicious, lovely Canon toys filled bag wouldn't fit in. Then there was even clunkier white automobile taking me and Maggie Wallace Cullen (my photographer- friend) to a rustic hotel in Playa Del Brisas.

That same night we met Hope and Cody, the lucky-in-love Seattle-ians (?) and 12 of their fun and gorgeous Family and Friends at their villa and were immediately charmed, amused and inspired beyond belief. Wouldn't you be?

And here's Hope!

Hope and Cody- the first look!

Rest of the night ...

Destination weddings are magical. It's the excitement over the undiscovered lands, the whirlwind of strange and wonderful sensory experiences, but mostly it's about meeting and bonding with fantastic people.

Hope and Cody, I trust you enjoyed your Mexican adventure. Maggie and I were so fortunate to be able to participate in your very special event!
Family and Friends (all 10 of you!)- you made us feel welcome!
Gaby (Gabriela Montiel) - a destination wedding planner extraordinaire - you made it a blast for everyone! Thank you for your creativity, an eye for detail, great organization, smooth execution, and a lovely attitude!
Maggie, my 'partner in crime' - Thanks for all the fun and your unique, creative input!
Mexico- I will be coming back for more!!!
