Pumpkin Ale with Rachel and Alex!

I dare to say there's very few things in this world that can beat the mood of Fall in New York. Think "When Harry met Saly" or "You've got mail" or at least a dozen other well known movies that are showing it in such a contagiously sweet way. Rachel and Alex live in Texas but they picked the Big Apple as the stage for their wedding vows. I strolled with them through central park on this gorgeous Friday afternoon where their ceremony took place. Then we visited other parts of Manhattan for some pumpkin ale at the Heartland Brewery and more photos at the Southstreet Seaport area. Thank You Rachel and Alex for this lovely day and thanks to my fellow blogger Monika Broz for the referral!

  2. David, You have exceeded our every expectation with these photos, and we had such a great time shooting with you! You made us so comfortable, like we were sight-seeing with an old friend... who just happens to be an amazing photographer. You captured the day just as we remember it, and we could not have dreamt of a more positive experience. - Rachel

  4. I very much like the way you see and compose your photos - eg. the first one, the third one [toy story], the one with the lips poster, the one where you framed just the legs of the couple using an ornament cut out in a wall. your photos are full of nice surprises :)

  5. David, I had absolutely loved the wedding photos when I first saw them; you captured my wonderful son and daughter-in-law, and their obvious happiness on this most important day in their lives, amazingly! Then added to that to be able to spend a good part of last weekend with you, watching you work, and getting to know you, when family and friends finally got together to celebrate, was a truly great experience. Absolutely cannot wait to see the next round of photos!
