Rachel and Jimmy in the city that doesn't sleep !

I think we completely gave ourselves in to the everlasting charm of the city while working with Rachel and Jimmy on the rooftop of their bulding in midtown Manhattan just a few days ago... oh, but could you not ?!

Rewinding to the beginning, the afternoon started in Brooklyn with a walk around DUMBO, a perfect place for two photographers with a cute couple to shoot !

From WIKIPEDIA: DUMBO, an acronym for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass...

With no regrets we made our cool subjects walk & smile a lot, dance in the streets and jump as high as they could, but it was all worth it :)

Contrasting drama with extreme fun we used every photo opportunity on our way through this one of a kind neighborhood:

Rachel and Jimmy - if you had half the fun we did your day must have been great :)
We are so looking forward to your wedding in just a few short months !

Alexis and Mark in the garden of "YES" :)

There are places in New York that aren't difficult to find, yet somehow not easy to discover. At least for someone who does not live in the city. Seven years in this area and you can still surprise yourself with how much Manhattan has to offer. A few days ago Alexis and Mark invited me to photograph their engagement session in a very special part of Central Park. In this very spot Mark proposed to Alexis just a few months ago:

Walking around the area and playing with words:

More from the garden and its surroundings:

Alexis and Mark - Thank You for showing me a new place and making the session fun to shoot ! I am excited about your upcoming wedding in just a few weeks !

Hanging out with celebrities!

Being a photographer has many perks. One of them is spending time with beautiful people! We met Tracy and Ira in their Gramercy park apartment (huge windows- what a view!) where we shot few pics of T & I with their oh-so-cute yorkie Winnie. A short (and bumpy) cab ride later we were all languidly strolling through Central Park. Tracy is very beautiful, and glamorous, plus she works for a major fashion house, so she's got the style :) and so ......we tried to do some photography, but encountered a number of interruptions:
Passer by: 'Who are you shooting? Who is she? 'I know, I know!' 'I recognize her smile ... !' 'It's ...... Jessica!'
Passer by # 2: 'Do you guys always travel with your photographers?'
Passers by # 3, 4, 5 - Just standing on the side and photographing the entire scene with their little cameras.
Ohhhh- it was hard work! ;))
After all we had such great time, basking in all the goodies central park has to offer: sun filtered through vegetation, pretzels and mustard, interesting pseudo antiquated architectural structures, horse carriages, yellow cabs ... and much fun with our lovely couple!

Dayna and Matt - all the world's a stage !

What I really like about our recent engagement sessions is that no two of them were the same yet. We have shot several in Manhattan, two in Washington DC, went to the woods, abandoned buildings, lakeshore and pumpkin field. Thanks to Dayna and Matt a few days ago we have added a theatre scene to our collection. Oh, it was splendid to be able to use all the lights, decorations and the stupendous surroundings. The most astonishing however, were our actors who made the spectacle truly unforgettable !

For the second act of our special performance we stepped out to the streets right around the playhouse and... the fun continued:

Dayna and Matt - I guess we don't have to tell you how much fun it was working with you ! Your wedding is more than a year away but... "how poor ar they that have not patience !"

Wendy & Jesse- it's raining, it's pouring, and we all are lovin' it!

Soooo, the thing with rain on the wedding day, besides the obvious (no photos/ceremony/fun en plein air) is that brides get very bummed! All but Wendy. She was more bubbly than perrier-jouet, more sweet than Maison Du Chocolat and more strikingly gorgeous than any Gisele or Angelina for that matter!

The ceremony at Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA was sweet and short.

The oficial part was followed by a real treat for us crazy photographers! Wendy, Jesse and their 'entourage' walked to the Carousel located in the village. They braved the rain, we got some killer shots, and we love them for it!

Reception was filled with good food, music and emotional moments... and a lot of special lighting effects.

Wendy and Jesse- may your life together be packed with luv and sweetness!
