Manzanillo Milagroso ! Mexico Destination Wedding

Destination weddings are quite magical.
First, there was a dark body of angry water splashing onto the sandy shore seen through the eye of a clunky Mexicana Air jet with dwarfed overhead compartments. So small, that my delicious, lovely Canon toys filled bag wouldn't fit in. Then there was even clunkier white automobile taking me and Maggie Wallace Cullen (my photographer- friend) to a rustic hotel in Playa Del Brisas.

That same night we met Hope and Cody, the lucky-in-love Seattle-ians (?) and 12 of their fun and gorgeous Family and Friends at their villa and were immediately charmed, amused and inspired beyond belief. Wouldn't you be?

Rest of the night ...

Destination weddings are magical. It's the excitement over the undiscovered lands, the whirlwind of strange and wonderful sensory experiences, but mostly it's about meeting and bonding with fantastic people.

Hope and Cody, I trust you enjoyed your Mexican adventure. Maggie and I were so fortunate to be able to participate in your very special event!
Family and Friends (all 10 of you!)- you made us feel welcome!
Gaby (Gabriela Montiel) - a destination wedding planner extraordinaire - you made it a blast for everyone! Thank you for your creativity, an eye for detail, great organization, smooth execution, and a lovely attitude!
Maggie, my 'partner in crime' - Thanks for all the fun and your unique, creative input!
Mexico- I will be coming back for more!!!
