Chase Jarvis team strikes NYC!
This past weekend I had a chance to hang out with a group of amazingly creative people, the masters and leaders of their industry, the one and only ChaseJarvis team from Seattle. They were generous enough to set up a two day informal get together with photographers who have been following their work online. It was a very special experience for me, eye opening on many levels. During the second day I met with a few photographers to photograph two members of our group, a couple that came all the way from Canada just to take part in the event! Here's the entire 354 images from their short session in a 90 second video. Enjoy!

"When Harry met Sally..." sign up for a shoot with your love!

Hello ALL couples in the Eastern US! Here's our MAD LOVE shout out to you again! Feeling photogenic-romantic? Aaah, good timing - it's the Fall - best time to take photos of yourselves! You have just been thinking that, haven't you? Excellent! We have just came up with an idea of affordable sessions for two.

Whether you're dating, are engaged, married or simply romancing someone and would like to have exciting photos of yourselves created - this is the time to contact us... and we're not just talking a simple 'stand together, smile into the camera' portrait with blurred fall-color background (although we'll certainly capture one like that too) - we're talkin' boombastic, unrealistic, fantastic, artistically angled and creatively treated images here. Look what we've done before and smile, this could be you and your love:

We are much looking forward to hear from you and will be happy to share the details over e-mail (grab the dates while they last! availability will be determined following the 'first come first serve' rule!).

Miles away from ordinary!
Going to Coney Island for a photo shoot is always a good idea. Going over there with Michelle and John turns it into the best idea ever. I knew what I could expect from them after our wild IKEA run and this time it was quite similar - be quick (with your shooting) or be 'imageless' ;) This was a dynamic, funky, cool and inspired session. We were hoping to get some Coney Island specific images but also explore another side of it, the more hidden and less accessible one. You be the judge of how we performed!

The wedding is coming in three weeks! Stay tuned for an immediate blog post - I think I don't have to say I am excted!

Michelle + John. First, we take IKEA!
Ever since I invaded local grocery stores with Jennifer and Tim several months ago I was hoping I would get to have another engagement session this season in an unusual location. When I was talking to Michelle on the phone right before their engagement shoot she mentioned "IKEA". "Yeeeees!" I went in my mind, without trying to sound too excited...because you never know how it is really going to turn out. With a wild shoot like that you might get lucky and get amazing stuff or you might get kicked out after the first photo by on overzealous security guard! As a matter of fact that is what we were expecting...but it didn't happen. We ran through the whole store and Michelle even....oh, I should stop talking and just let you enjoy the images!

At this point I need to thank my fiancee Ella! Without her involvement some of these shots would not be possible. Thanks for helping with light and getting all the superb shots from different angles that put together make for incredible sequences just like the one below:

The second part of Michelle and John's session was shot at an outdoor location in Red Hook, NY. I'm sure to many of you this place will look familiar. We loved the old train, such a perfect opportunity to create RAD, DIRTY AND GRITTY looking images!

Right before losing the last light of the day we have captured the closing image - again, working together on lighting and exposure against the evening sky! Michelle and John - this feels like such an exciting adventure - thanks for being so awesome! Everybody else - stay tuned for more, chapter two is coming soon!
