Lovely Dinosaurs ... Joanne & Matt!

The wedding of Joanne& Matt took place on one of these early autumn days when the first chill has undertones of wet leaves and chimney smoke, the skies are heavy lead blue, the squeaking geese fly in formations, and one can't help but feel overwhelming and breathtaking happiness to be a part of the cycle of seasons.

So, let me get this straight: I simply adore Joanne & Matt. From the first moment they saw each other in their wedding outfits, they were giddy with joy and so transparent in their feelings for one another! We ventured to Princeton University Campus for our quick session, and returned to the venue- Pearl Buck House, in Perkasie PA hosted by Open Air Affairs, for their emotional ceremony, led by Matt's Dad as the officiant. I loved the readings, one of which was from 'A Lovely Love Story' by Edward Monkton (that's where the title of this post originates from), read by Jo's Aunt. Reception followed, and so did the speeches. Harry- a Best Man spoke first, and made everyone laugh wild! The second was Coreen. Coreen- you are an amazing lady, and a great friend!

Then- there was lots of wild dancing- moves so good, that it almost seemed like it all was choreographed! All the amazing details- 'Sweet Table', 'Cookies & Milk Table', 'Hot Dog Cart' were ether designed, made or requested by Joanne.. She put so many personal touches into her day, and we love her for it.

and lastly .. Joanne & Matt- I have a confession to make! When I (a long time self proclaimed cupcake hater) photographed your beautiful cupcake formation (freshly iced, and arranged, in lieu of the traditional cake!), I suddenly found myself in a cloud of sweet aroma, a smell infused with vanilla and cinnamon.. I could not help it.. and ate one! It was delicious, with a subtle note of carrot cake like spices.. and cream cheese icing. Oh. You not only made me teary eyed during your ceremony, but also changed me, forever, into a cup cake lover!

Last but not least: I was joined by amazing Nadine Rovner, who captured many gorgeous images!

It may be 'decaf' but with so much kick!

Amanda and Andrew. So crazy in love, so happy during their entire day. There was a bride and groom session next to an old cannon, a high jumping bridal party, a bridal bouquet left alone at the top of a hill and very challenging limo ride to get it back! There was funkiness, dancing, a rocking band performance, good spirits and fabulous details. All wrapped in black and white coverage by myself and Robin Roemer. Here's some highlight images that were recorded on my cards:

Among other attractions during the reception we were treated with a very special performance by Andrew's reunited college band "Decaf Spoon"! Thank You everybody for a fabulous event! We had much fun!
