Conyne Eylandt - no more rabbits but the charm is still there !

In Dutch it means 'Rabbit Island' and the original spelling comes from the 1639 map of 'New Netherlands' by Johannes Vingboon. According to wikipedia 'it declined in popularity after World War II and endured years of neglect'. Today it is an exceptional place, very specific with really special flavor (and lots of spice!). You have to be there and experience it first hand to know what exactly we are talking about. Kerry and Manny took us to this one of a kind location for their engagement session shoot. Oh, did we have fun !

As always, we love playing with signs and slogans !

At some point during the shoot Kerry asked us to photograph the WONDER WHEEL. "You are capturing my whole childhood right now..." she said.

After exploring the famous Boardwalk we ran to the beach:

Outfits that allow some variation have our full support :)

Kerry and Manny - thanks for a lovely evening ! Coney Island - we are most definitely coming back soon !

  1. David and Monika, what can we say? Amazing! The pictures are amazingly beautiful. The two of you are just so easy-going and wonderful to work with. We are so happy that the idea of Coney Island somehow came up and that you were so excited for the opportunity!

You captured my childhood yet really matured it. You made me see my old stomping ground in a unique, new way.

We cannot wait until our wedding day and are so excited that we found you to capture it!

    Thank you!!!
